However, this ranking was ahead of its main competitor, The University of Oxford, which landed 72nd position.<\/p>\n<p>Oxford was found to spend just \u00a3446 per student, per year, on its facilities; highlighting that those universities who perform best academically do not necessarily spend the most money on their student resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The top ten spenders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the top ten universities found to be spending the most amount of money on the student experience is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Buckinghamshire New University (\u00a31,434)<\/li>\n<li>The University of Northampton (\u00a31,066)<\/li>\n<li>Durham University (\u00a31,030)<\/li>\n<li>The University of Essex (\u00a3996)<\/li>\n<li>Loughborough University (\u00a3949)<\/li>\n<li>Royal Agricultural University (\u00a3947)<\/li>\n<li>Liverpool Hope (\u00a3909)<\/li>\n<li>St Mark and St John (\u00a3900)<\/li>\n<li>The University of Hertfordshire (\u00a3890)<\/li>\n<li>The University of East Anglia (\u00a3815)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Are you a recent graduate?
